Tutorial Banks Import

Getting your operations into Klyrr takes less than two minutes — whether you bank at TD, RBC, Scotiabank, BMO, CIBC, Desjardins, Tangerine, or elsewhere.

Step 1: Download from your bank

Log into online banking or your bank’s app, open the account, and download a statement or account activity file for the date range you want.

Step 2: Upload to Klyrr

Sign in to Klyrr, go to Import, and upload your file. AI reads the activity and categorizes it for Canadian merchants.

Step 3: Review AI categorization

Every entry receives a category, subcategory, normalized merchant, and smart tags. Amazon purchases are grouped. Recurring payments like Netflix are detected automatically.

Tips for best results

  • Import at least one month of data for meaningful insights
  • Re-import regularly — duplicates are skipped automatically
  • Check the Subscriptions page for detected recurring charges
  • Day to day, snap receipts with + so you don’t wait for the next statement
