FAQ

Pricing, privacy, and how Klyrr works for Canadian households.

How much does Klyrr cost?
Klyrr is a paid product billed in CAD. Solo is $4.99 CAD/mo or $41.99 CAD/yr (one person, one finance file). Family is $9.99 CAD/mo or $83.99 CAD/yr (up to 4 users and 4 files). Annual billing saves about 30%.
Is there a free trial? Do I need a credit card?
Yes. Both Solo and Family include a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial, but you will not be charged until it ends. Cancel anytime during the trial and you pay nothing.
What is the difference between Solo and Family?
Solo is for one person with one finance file — receipts, imports, AI insights, budgets, and the assistant. Family includes everything in Solo, plus up to 4 users and 4 files so partners or household members can share and invite others.
Can I cancel or change plans anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime in the billing portal before the trial ends to avoid charges, or later to stop renewal. You can also switch Solo ↔ Family and Monthly ↔ Annual anytime; changes are prorated.
How do I add spending?
Right after you pay, open Klyrr and snap a photo of the receipt — groceries, gas, parking, coffee, anything. AI reads it automatically. No receipt? Type the amount manually. You can also upload bank files (statements, CSV, Excel, PDF, and more), paste screenshots, or bulk-import when you want.
Do I need to connect my bank account?
No. You never need to share bank passwords to use Klyrr. Most people start by snapping receipts day to day. Upload statements or screenshots when you want a fuller history. Direct bank connections are on the roadmap — not required today.
Is my financial data private and safe?
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest and is never sold. Only you — and people you invite — can see your transactions. You choose what enters Klyrr (receipts, manual entries, files you upload). Manage invites and access anytime.
How does the AI work?
AI reads receipt photos, screenshots, and bank descriptions — extracts amounts and merchants, assigns categories, spots trends and subscriptions, and answers questions in plain language. You can always edit anything. Your financial health score (0–100) updates as you add spending.
Can my partner or family share finances with me?
Yes — on Family. Share a finance file so one person snaps groceries, another captures gas, and everyone sees the same live dashboard. Invite or remove members when you need to.
Is Klyrr available in French? Is it built for Canada?
Yes. The full website and app are in English and French — switch anytime. Pricing is in CAD, and imports understand major Canadian banks and everyday Canadian merchants.
Which Canadian banks work with Klyrr?
You can use Klyrr with any bank by snapping receipts or typing amounts. For imports, upload statements and files from Canada's major banks — TD, RBC, Scotiabank, BMO, CIBC, and more. A bank export is optional, not required to start.
How is Klyrr different from Mint, YNAB, or spreadsheets?
Klyrr is built for how Canadians actually live — snap a receipt at Costco, get AI advice in plain language, share with Family, and pay in CAD without building complex budget rules or waiting for month-end CSV rituals.
